Circumcenter of a Triangle

Construction of Circumcenter of a Triangle

  1. I started by creating a triangle of no particular size.
  2. I then used the perpendicular bisector tool with each edge of the triangle.
  3. The point the perpendicular bisectors met at is the circumcenter. This point is currently labelled as (3.5, 1.12) and is red.
  4. I then used the circle with center with a point tool to create a circle with the center at the circumcenter and the radius to the vertex.
  5. I connected the segments from the circumcenter to each vertex (these are in pink) and found the distance to be 3.68 for each.
