The artwork Concreção 8074 has characteristics similar to Luiz Sacilotto's cutouts. Analyze the artwork and answer the following questions.

Question 1

Observing the circular sectors in the composition of the artwork, analyzing their arrangement in a line, and considering the direction from left to right, what characteristic do you notice in the sequence of geometric shapes?

Question 2

Now observe the arrangement of the circular sectors in the first column. Analyzing the arrangement from bottom to top, what characteristic do you notice in this sequence of geometric shapes?

Question 3

Considering the use of the Sequence command, as applied in the reinterpretation of other works by Sacilotto, use GeoGebra Online (https://www.geogebra.org/classic) and start by creating a grid with n² points, where n = 13, arranged in rows and columns using the following command: Sequence(Expression, Variable, Start Value, End Value) L = Sequence((Mod(i,n),Division(i,n)),i,0,n²–1) Explain each element of the command.

Question 4

Once the grid has been created, use these points as the centers of the circular sectors that will compose the artwork Concreção 8074. To do this, create a circular sector centered at a point A, which will serve as the reference circular sector, and name it sector f. You can use the Toolbar Image button in the tools menu. Use the following Sequence command to perform the reinterpretation: N = Sequence(Translate(Dilate(Rotate(f,(x(L(i))+y(L(i)))*(–(180°)/12),A),0.2,A),L(i)), i,1,n²) Compare the obtained reinterpretation with the artwork Concreção 8074 and describe the observed similarities and differences.

Question 5

Propose a sequence command that can faithfully reproduce the artwork Concreção 8074. After that, interact with the reinterpretation presented at the end of this activity, altering the shape of the circular sectors to create new digital artworks based on the work of the artist Luiz Sacilotto.

Based on the concepts acquired from reading this book, create a reinterpretation of the artwork Concreção 8074 using GeoGebraScript and the sequence command.
