Solving Proportions
Instructions:
- Write a ratio comparing the width to the height of the photo.
- Write a ratio comparing the width to the height of this photo if is enlarged to have a width of 6 units. Use "h" to represent the height of the enlarged photo in your ratio.
- Write a proportion by setting the two ratios = to each other. You should write 2 : 4 = 6 : h.
- Solve your proportion to find the value of h.
