Whale's bubble spiral

When chasing shrimps, whales make this splendid fishing net of neatly arranged bubbles that trap the shrimps in a cylinder where the whale can gulp them in.
I placed points at the center of each bubble column to see how the spirale goes. It looks like a simple archimedean spiral. Sorry folks, no golden spiral here :-) This picture is taken from a video posted on Twitter by Rafael Araujo.
