This is the graph of f(x,y)=(x^4-y^5)/(x^4+y^5). Using the slider, you can observe the behaviour around (0,0) for different straight lines of the form y=mx. Convince yourself that the limit as (x,y) goes to (0,0) of this function does not exist.
