Standard Form of Circles

Write the equation of the circle in standard form after completing the square on the x and y-values. Enter the x and y-coordinate of the center along with the radius in the boxes provided. Once values are entered, (and you hit enter) two graphs will appear. (blue circle was given and the red circle matches your entries) If you are correct, the graphs should match. If the graphs do not match, you need to make corrections on your paper to the standard form and recheck BEFORE hitting "New Problem".
