Paradise Inc., which operates foreigner-only casinos in South Korea, saw its gaming sales drop 53.6 percent in November compared to October to W9.9 billion. It showed a 1.2 percent year-on-year increase in sales.
Table sales were down 59.0% month-on-month in November, slightly below 8.05 billion won. Compared to the same month a year earlier, they were up 0.8%.
In a filing to the Korea Exchange on Thursday, Paradise did not explain the large sequential decline in table revenue.
Machine game sales rose 9.3% month-on-month to 1.86 billion won in November this year. Machine game sales increased 3.2% compared to November 2020.
The figures are based on a casino division consisting of Paradise Walkerhill (pictured) in Seoul, the capital of Korea, Jeju Grand in Jeju Island, Paradise City in Incheon, outside Seoul, and Busan Casino in the southern port city of the same name.
Paradise's November 2021 casino total revenue was 219.87 billion won, down 25.0% from the same period in 2020.
