“Students/Teachers” has the highest value
with a positive sign
In factor 1, "Students/Teachers" has the largest
value with a positive sign, followed by "Tui pay by stu/Edu act rev."
The far right is where universities that have higher positive scores in these
indices are located. Keio University and Tokai University are in Factor 1's
left position in Figure 3B.
Several universities can be found in Figure 3B's right
position. Universities with lower scores on both indices appear to place more
of an emphasis on enhancing the
student-teacher ratio and reducing their reliance on tuition.
In Table 4, "Adv cost/Edu act rev" and "Man
assets/Ext debts" are tied for greatest value with a positive sign in
factor 2.
Higher values in both indices for institutions appear to
imply that they prioritise marketing initiatives relative to other universities
and have
more favourable financial circumstances. In Figure 3B, they
are in the higher position. Chiba Institute of Technology is one instance. Keio
University is the institution that comes in last.
In Figure 3B, it appears that Group 1 is divided into three
groups: Keio University is in the lower left, GMARCH is in the middle right,
and Chiba Institute of Technology is in the top right. The figure shows that
"Edu act exp/Edu act rev" and "Tui pay by stu/Edu act rev"
loading values are both high and positive in factor 3.
