Water Supply: Four Towns (Part 2)

How can you locate the point without using trial and error and dragging? In problem solving it is often useful to look at a simpler case of a problem. What if, instead of finding a point equidistant from all four villages, we focus only on finding a point equidistant from villages A and B?
  1. Find a point equidistant from Village A and Village B. Of course, you could use trial and error to do this, but maybe there's a more precise way. What tools could you use?
  2. How can you use this to solve your original problem?
