Orthocenter Exploration

What is the best description of the red lines?

What is the relationship between the vertex, the red line, and the opposite side of the triangle?

The place where the red lines meet is called the orthocenter. Move the sides around to answer the following questions.

Is it ever possible for the orthocenter to lie outside the triangle? If so, how would you classify such a triangle by its angles?

Is it ever possible for the orthocenter to lie on the triangle itself? If so, how would you classify such a triangle by its angles?

Is it ever possible for the orthocenter to lie inside the triangle? If so, how would you classify such a triangle by its angles?

Do you notice any unique properties occurring?
