Practice adding and subtracting positive and negative numbers using coins representing money you have (black) and money you owe - debts (red). Put coins into the middle when adding. Take them away when subtracting. You can add or subtract positive (black) or negative (red) amounts. Black and red coins can cancel out - a debt is paid by money you have.
