Hexagon-Kite Tessellation
Standard kite angles of 60-90-120-90 give a tiling of
the plane that also results in tessellation by hexagons.
This drawing makes a nice student project, with angle measurement,
line sement length relationships, and areas. Kites can be further
broken down into 30-60-90 right triangles for further study.
