absolute value function

The parent function for this piece of art is the absolute value function. The function is f(x)=k abs(x - a) + d. The three sliders I have in place are sliders A, D, and K. Slider A gives the function a horizontal shift, while Slider D, gives a vertical shift. Slider K changes the width of the function. The colors are affected mainly in correspondence to Slider A. The color settings are red=5, green=4a, and blue=5a. Since the red is set at 5, and the other variable have either negatives or numbers under 5 involved multiplied by another number, the color scheme of the function will be mainly red toned colors.
