Translation

This is an example of a translation. A translation is a transformation in which each vertex is moved along a vector. Its image moves the same distance and are parallel. In my example polygon ABCD is translated 5 to the right and 4 down. This transformation can be written as T<5,-4>. To check this translation you can count each point, ABC and D, 5 to the right and 4 down. If all your points are correct your image should keep the same size, shape and angle just moved into a different spot than your pre-image.
