Click and drag on the tilt option so that the green rectangle is either parallel (in the middle) or perpendicular to the base (towards top or bottom.) The shape to the right is the shape created as it is sliced parallel or perpendicular to the base.
Click and drag on the tilt option so that the blue figure is either parallel or perpendicular to the base. The shape to the right is the shape created as it is sliced parallel or perpendicular to the base.
For the following figures, click and drag all the way to horizontal side to observe what shape is formed if the figure is sliced parallel to the base. Click and drag all the way to vertical side to observe what shape is formed if the figure is sliced perpendicular to the base. Click on "view from the section" to get a clear picture of the shape formed from the cut.
