π and the Circumference and Area of a Circle

Here is another applet that shows the relationship between a regular polygon and the circle. Consider a circle to be a regular polygon with infinitely many sides. The apothem is simply the height of each little triangle. The sides of the little isosceles triangle is the radius of the circle.
