GeoGebra AR Modeling Challenge 2
- Tim Brzezinski
This square pyramid has a base edge with length 10 units. The center of the base = (0,0,0). The height of this pyramid = 5 units. Try to construct this pyramid WITHOUT THE ELLIPTICAL WINDOWS first. If you're up for putting windows on the 4 lateral faces, here's a clue: The projection of any elliptical window onto the pyramid's base = a circle with radius 1. The center of such a circle is 3 units away from the center of the base. Reconstruct what you see here in this screencast in GeoGebra Augmented Reality or in GeoGebra's 3D Graphing Calculator. Have fun with this!
