Explore dilations on the graph below.

First: Spend 10 minutes playing with the graph below. Things you can do.
  • You can drag the vertices of the pre-image (A, B, C) around.
  • You can move the "Center" around.
  • You can change the Scale Factor of the image by using the slider.
  • You can enable/disable the scaled image using the "Image" check box.
  • You can enable/disable the scale lines using the "Movement of Points" check box.
