Triangle: Proportionality

The last basic property of triangles has to do with the relationships between the angles of a triangle and the lengths of the triangle’s sides. Can you discover this rule? You can move the labels A, B. C, AB, AC, BC,α, β, and γ with your mouse to be able to read.
Make a table on your paper similar to the one above. Copy down the name of the sides shortest to longest, then copy the point name of the smallest angle to the longest angle. What relationship do you see between the sides length and the angles size? In every triangle, the longest side is opposite the largest angle and the shortest side is opposite the smallest angle.
