Digital Fingerprint using Matrices
- Greg Drury
Create a Digital Fingerprint using Matrices and Computer Graphics Use the sliders in the left graphics window to indicate your day and month of birth, and the last digit of your student ID. Then click on the play button at the bottom left corner of the left graphics window. Allow the animation to play for at least 2 minutes as Geogebra creates your "digital fingerprint".
When you are happy with the graphic, pause the animation using the button in the bottom left hand corner of the smaller graphics window. When finished you should print the whole graphic using the following instructions (Windows PC): With the image displayed on the screen, press the "print screen" key on your keyboard. Open Microsoft Paint, and press CTRL-V to paste in the image. Crop the image to eliminate everything except the image area you want. Print the image from Paint - be sure to use landscape orientation. You need to submit a printed copy of your digital fingerprint, including the "Algebra Window".
