Composition #1

This composition is a rotation of 180 degrees clockwise to get the first image, then a reflection across the y-axis resulting in the final image. The original figure, the pre-image, moves 180 degrees clockwise around the origin, which is the center of rotation. Each vertex in the pre-image moved 180 degrees clockwise around the center of rotation, which resulted in the first image. Then, the first image that was already rotated was reflected across the y-axis. The line of reflection (the y-axis, in this case) is equidistant from the figure and its reflection. For example, C' and C'' are both 1 unit away from the line of reflection, or the y-axis. The line of reflection would form a 90 degree angle with any segment connecting any point on the first image to the second. This composition included a rotation 180 degrees clockwise, then a reflection across the y-axis resulting in the final image in quadrant III.
