The Shortest Distance Between Two Points

In the language of Geometry, distance is an absolute value. Given multiple and various points, to determine the shortest distance between these points, one way is to draw a perpendicular line connecting the points. Observing the magnitude of each segment, the two points that produce a perpendicular line has the shortest distance.
