Here is a straightedge and compass construction of a regular hexagon inscribed in a circle just before the last step of drawing the sides.
Use the polygon tool (triangle button) to draw at least two polygons. The vertices of your polygon should be intersection points within the circles. Note, your polygon has to begin and end on the same point. Shade in your polygons using different colors to make them easier to see. To change colors, use the style bar.
The style bar look will like this once you have created a polygon - it's located under the tool bar.
