I can describe a sequence of transformations that takes a given figure onto another figure.
Today we need to be very specific and detailed in our language. We want to communicate to others precisely (with common language) how to perform a sequences of transformations.
We also want generalize a sequence of transformations that could be applied to any figure and its image.
