B2. The "Area" tool

Calculate the area of CENTRAL PARK located in Manhattan (New York) in km² 1st. Activate the "Polygon" tool Toolbar Image to draw a quadrilateral "Q" defined by the vertices "A", "B", "C" and "D". 2nd. Click on the 4 corners of CENTRAL PARK in counter-clockwise direction and finish the quadrilateral by clicking on the first point again. 3rd. Name the quadrilateral "Q". 4th. Activate the "Area" tool Toolbar Image. 5th. Clicking inside the quadrilateral you will see the CENTRAL PARK area in km². If the vertices are very far from the corners of the park, activate the "Move" tool Toolbar Image and start them. The two curved arrows located in the upper right corner of the Graphics View allow you to reset the activity. If the activity is correct, you will get 10 points automatically.
