Pedagogical Knowledge
By middle school, students are very aware of the best way they learn. They know the techniques and strategies a teacher can use to increase success throughout the year. By making applets in GeoGebra, the students will evidence their knowledge and learning to the teacher.I will also use strategies I have witnessed to be successful in our classroom.
Technology has played an important role in student success in both of our classrooms, so technology will be the primary mode of learning in the lesson in many different forms.
My lesson plan will include engaging and innovating lesson plan in order to keep students focused and willing to learn. The students will have Chrome Books to follow along with our PowerPoint and it will also be projected. I will incorporate math games via GeoGebra in order to make the learning the concepts more meaningful and engaging. The students will also create applets to expand their experience and knowledge of the subjects learned.
