Charles Lamb-Assignment #3

Objective: Given any three nonlinear points, construct the circle that contains all 3 points. Geometric definitions: Circle: A circle is a shape with all points the same distance from its center. Diameter: A diameter of a circle is any straight line segment that passes through the center of the circle and whose endpoints lie on the circle. Radius: A radius of a circle or sphere is any of the line segments from its center to its perimeter. Chord: A chord of a circle is a straight line segment whose endpoints both lie on the circle. The relationship between the diameter of a circle and the chord that it bisects is that the chord of the circle can sometimes be parallel with the diameter of the circle, depending on how it is placed. Both a chord and a diameter are line segments, they are line segments that connects two points of a circle.
