What happens when you change a, b, c, d in a sin graph?

This file provides students with help in discovering what a, b, c, and d accomplish in the equation: y = a*sin b(x - c) +d We call the vertical phase shift "Miss Dottie" because the dotted line makes it look like the median of a road. At the upper and lower height limits we draw straight lines to really make it look like a road.
