This applet is an example of how you can model the geometrical shape of physical objects, motion paths, or outlines of images as parabolic functions or other functions.

Changes : The function includes + c to allow for shifting up or down of function ax(x-b)
Coefficients and constants were renamed, and sliders provided for a, b and c
Use the following items to adjust the curve of the function
1. Use the sliders to adjust the values of a, b, c.
2. Click on point E to shift its position to fit the image.
