1c. CAS Applet for Transforming Implicit Functions to Eliminate Irrationality in Focal Curve Equations Derived via the Half-Wave Zone Model
This CAS applet allows to transform the implicit function obtained in the applet to eliminate irrationality. The equation is reduced to a cubic polynomial, the solution to which will later be obtained using complex functions.
The transformation of the original implicit function to remove irrationality introduced additional solution branches. Compare the initial and final implicit functions!
