Constant Side Triangle and Parallelogram

Two sides of the triangle remain constant as you move point E. Note how the area changes. Four sides of the parallelogram remain constant. Its perimeter is constant. However, the area of the parallelogram changes. In both cases, note that the area depends on the height measures, not the side length measures.
