- Create line AB
- Put point somewhere not on line AB.
- Construct a parallel line through point C parallel to line AB.
- Put point D somewhere not on the previous lines
- Construct a parallel line through point D parallel to either line
- Hide points A, B, C, D
- Construct a line with points on two of the parallel lines.
- Create and label the points of intersection
- Construct another line intersection the parallel lines not parallel to the line in step 7
- Show the labels of all the points of intersection.
- Find the measures of all segments formed by points of intersection (4 of them)
- Use the text tool to set up a proportion. If your proportion works you are done!
