5-1 Trend Lines

Take a few minutes to explore trendlines further using the interactive below. Use the blue sliders to adjust the blue line. Try to create the best fit possible for the red data points with the blue line. A good rule of thumb is to try to have as many points above as below the line. When your blue line is in place, select the Show Trendline checkbox to view the real trendline and compare with the line you drew. Click the New Data button to try it again with a new set of data.
