Simpson's 1st Rule assumes a 2nd degree equation Simpson's 2nd Rule assumes a 3rd degree equation Using GeoGebra we have used a 4th degree equation
As you can see visually, the 4th degree trend line is closer to the given points and therefore the area calculated should be more accurate!
