Launching a pumpkin
Thanksgiving day fun at the park.
The general equation for projectile motion is: h(x)=-4.9x2 +vox+ho where vo is the initial velocity in meters, ho is the initial height in meters, x is the time in seconds and h is the height in meters. We are going to launch a pumpkin from a large sling-shot from a height of 4 feet and a velocity of 30 meters per second.
