Euclid's proof of Pythagoras part-1. With a right angled triangle resting on its hypotenuse and a perpendicular line through this extending into the largest square each rectangles created is equal in area to the smaller squares.

Move the sliders to change the triangle. Point C is calculated to ensure the two smaller triangles are similar and the top angle is always 90 degrees.
