Terrific Translations!

A translation is a movement of an object by a vector where each image and its vertices move parallel to the vector. A way to find this with out a coordinate plane is very simple. You need to make a line parallel to your vector from a point on your pre-image. You image should be the distance of the vector, away from the pre-image and moved in the same direction. As you can see from the model above the pre-image was moved with both distance and direction.
