A5. The “Distance or Lenght” tool
Calculate the distance between Sant Josep tower and Tabarca lighthouse
GeoGebra allows you to calculate distances using segments. The map of Tabarca Island is represented in the Graphics View and the units are in meters.
1st. Activate the "Point" tool 
and mark Sant Josep Tower.
2nd. In the previous activities, you were explained how to name objects. With the "Move" tool 
activated and from the context menu, name the tower point "T".
3rd. Activate the "Point" tool and mark Tabarca lighthouse.
4th. Activate the "Move" tool and name the lighthouse point "F".
5th. Activate the "Segment" tool 
and click on "T" and "F" points.
6th. Activate the "Move" tool and name the segment "d".
7th. Activate the "Distance or Length" tool 
, click on the segment. You will see the distance in meters.
The last Toolbox contains the following tools: "Move Graphics View" 
, "Zoom in" 
, "Zoom out" 
and "Delete" 
to remove objects. You can zoom in and zoom out and move the points to improve distance measurement.
The two curved arrows located in the upper right corner of the Graphics View allow you to reset the activity.
If the activity is correct, you will get 10 points automatically.
