Triangle Reflection

With this GeoGebra Applet, you will predict the coordinate points of the given triangle across four different lines.
First select the box "Show Line #1", the first line will appear. Record your predicted coordinate points of the reflected triangle across the red line. Now use the reflection tool to reflect the original triangle across line #1. Record the given coordinate points for the reflected triangle. Compare these points with your prediction. Describe why your points are different than the reflected points and explain why they may be different.
Repeat this process for each of the given lines in this applet. It may be easier to to unclick each line as you complete each step. You may also reset the applet by selecting the refresh button in the upper right-hand corner of the applet.
Once each line has been explored, describe a general pattern for each reflection of the given triangle.
