1st Dixit point

P, the 1st Dixit point is constructed as follows:
  • Construct the medians AD, BE, and CF of triangle ABC.
  • Construct semicircles with diameters BD, DC, BC outwardly.
  • Construct the circle tangent to the three semicircles BD, DC, BC, and define A' as its center.
  • Define B' and C' cyclically.
  • The lines AA', BB', CC' concur in P, triangle center X(3590)
The barycentric coordinates of this point depend on the lenghts of the sides of the triangle.

P, het 1ste punt van Dixit construeer je als volgt:
  • Construeer de zwaartelijnen AD, BE, and CF van driehoek ABC.
  • Construeer uitwendige halfcirkels met diameters BD, DC, BC.
  • Construeer de cirkel, rakend aan de drie halfcirkels BD, DC, BC, en bepaal het middelpunt A'.
