Now show the distance curve and if your predicted shape was wrong, either person should explain why. Hide the distance curve again and set the intial velocity to 2m/s and acceleration to [math]+1m/s^2[/math] and explain as before. Hide the distance curve again and set the intial velocity to 2m/s and acceleration to [math]-1m/s^2[/math] and explain as before. The velocity time line will cut the x axis at some point. Explain what this means? Will the distance time line cut the x axis at the same point? Why or why not?
