Dimension- A dimension is something that can be measured
* a 0 dimensional object is a point in space. it cant be measured but it has a location
* there are 3 one-dimensional 'space dimensions'

* two-dimensional objects have area
* three dimensional objects have volume
* often time is called a fourth dimension
Length- is the amount of distance between two points along a line
