Area of Parallelogram
- Drawing On Math
1. Once the applet loads, move around points B and C to create different parallelograms. What do you observe? 2. In science experiments the goals is to test only one variable at a time. To do the same thing in this experiment select one point (B or C) and use the arrow keys on the keyboard to move in only one direction at a time. Try this for both points. What do you notice now that you are only changing one variable at a time? 3. Can you come up with a formula for the area of a parallelogram based on your observations?
