The answer is very visual if one illustrate the linear inequality and the hyperbolic inequality. Now it is easy to see domain where these two inequalities will be equal. It is a powerful illustration. Many teachers would have accepted the original answer as correct or even have given marks as the belief it to be correct. The graph might have proven them wrong.
