Ambiguous Case Investigation
Directions:
1. You will use the interactive below to create FOUR different types of triangles.
2. The colored "slider" buttons will adjust the side lengths and angle measures!
3. I'd like you to take a screenshot of EACH of these triangles:
a. Green side is not long enough to intersect the blue side.
b. The triangle contains a right angle.
c. The green and blue sides make an obtuse angle (more than 90 degrees).
d. The green and blue sides make an acute angle (less than 90 degrees).
4. Put your screenshots into the Google Doc assignment on our Google Classroom page.
5. Turn in the Google Doc before you leave class today.
Do you see WHY it's called the Ambiguous Case? There's no way to know for certain which triangle we should create!
