P is the center of the Taylor circle. This circle is constructed as follows:
  • Construct HA, HB, and HC, the feet of the altitudes of the triangle ABC.
  • Out of these feet, construct the perpendicular lines to the adjacent sides and define the intersections.
  • These 6 points are concyclic. The circle that passes through all 6 points is the Taylor circle.
The barycentric coordinates of this point depend on the lenghts of the sides of the triangle as well as on the angles.

P is het middelpunt van de cirkel van Taylor. Deze cirkel construeer je als volgt:
  • Construeer HA, HB en HC, de voetpunten van de hoogtelijnen van driehoek ABC.
  • Construeer vanuit deze voetpunten de loodlijnen op de overstaande zijden en bepaal de snijpunten.
  • Deze 6 punten liggen op één cirkel, de zgn. cirkel van Taylor.
De barycentrische coördinaten van dit punt worden zowel bepaald door de lengtes van de zijden van de driehoek als door de hoeken.
