Triangle center X(53) is the symmedian point of orthic triangle. The point X(53) is constructed as follows:
  • Construct the feet A', B', and C' of the altitudes of the triangle ABC, forming the orthic triangle.
  • Construct the medians of this orthic triangle.
  • Construct the reflections of these medians about the bisectors of triangle ABC (=blue lines)
  • These blue lines cross at X(53)
The isogonal conjugate of X53, triangle center X(53) can be constructed as follows:
  • Reflect the lines AX53, BX53, CX53 about the bisectors of the triangle ABC (=blue lines)
  • These blue lines cross at the triangle center X(97). The barycentric coordinates of this point depend on the angles of the triangle.

Driehoekscentrum X(53) is het punt van Lemoine van de hoogtedriehoek. Je construeert het punt X(53) als volgt:
  • Construeer de voetpunten A', B', and C' van de hoogtelijnen van de driehoek ABC, die samen de hoogtedriehoek vormen.

  • Spiegel de rechten AX53, BX53, CX53 t.o.v. de bissectrices van ABC (=blauwe lijnen).
  • Deze blauwe lijnen snijden elkaar in het driehoekscentrum X(53).
De barycentrische coördinaten van dit punt worden bepaald door de hoeken van de driehoek.
