A translation is a figure that moves along a vector with slide or a shift. They can be achieved by performing two composite reflections over parallel lines. Translations are isometric and preserve orientation. I know this is a translation because the figure moves along a vector (A) and each vector and its image are the same distance and are parallel to the vector.
