Using the General Equation for a HORIZONTALLY ORIENTED Hyperbola, this problem becomes much simpler.
We can easily tell that h=0, k=3; therefore, the center is located at point C=(0,3).
We can also tell that the horizontal scale factor, a, is 2.
Likewise, we can also tell that the vertical scale factor, b, is 1.
Now that we know a and b, we can use the Pythagorean Theorem, to locate both foci.
a^2+b^2=c^2, where c is the distance from the center to each focus HORIZONTALLY.
Using this, we should find the ordered pairs for the two foci are F_1=(sqrt(5),3) and F_2=(-sqrt(5),3)
