Phase Shift of Trig Funct {sin(x), cos(x), sec(x), csc(x)}

Select each function one at a time. Phase shift is the left or right change of a function. Period is the length the function takes to repeat itself. Change the value of the B slider, the width of the period will be calculated. Change the value of the C slider, the amount of the phase shift will be calculated. State the domain and range of each. State the length of the period for each. Which function the inverse of the sine? cosine? secant? cosecant? Can you state the domain for the inverse of each function?
This applet can be used by teachers in a demonstration mode in the classroom or teachers can have students load it on their own computers with a worksheet to be complete for a grade.
